As a child I have always had access to the best Vietnamese food aka my mom's cooking but this has to be my go to place to bring friends for Vietnamese food. Reason being they serve one dish that other restaurants rarely don't!
If you come here I recommend getting the Bo 7 mon (for larger groups) or the Bo 3 mon. This just translates to beef in 3 or 7 ways. If you haven't tried wrapping your own salad rolls and have been on your list of things to try, then this is your chance!
Making salad rolls is truly a skill believe it or not.
Aside from this their BBH (bun bo hue) is hands down my favourite. -

The rating is specifically for their COM TAM.
BEST com Tam I have had outside of Vietnam. The pork chop was marinated perfectly, well cooked so it was still tender and juicy. The fish sauce was on point
The meatloaf was so so thought, too much of tofu inside.
I also tried their duck noodles which was very good too.
The clay pork ( braised pork in hot pot) was a bit salty for my taste but it was very tender.
definitely come back here and order com Tam only next time
Note: CASH ONLY! -

Hands down the best Vietnamese restaurant for authentic Vietnamese dishes. I'm Vietnamese, so I can guarantee you won't disappoint if you're looking for authentic dishes. If you're looking for pho, try other places. Don't come here for pho. If you come here, order savoury dishes to eat with rice.
I ordered 6 dishes because you get 1 free chicken plate. All this was under $100. It was worth every penny.
The service was great for a Vietnamese restaurant. Although the place is not aesthetically pleasant, the food sure is delicious. Would I come back? Most definitely! I look forward to bringing my boyfriend and friends here. -

I've actually never had other dishes from here. I usually have their lemongrass chicken on broken rice with a fried egg. It's the best in town. I like the pickled veggies that come with the rice cuz it balances the chicken taste, the whole dish isn't too heavy on the stomach.

Atmosphere: This is a hole in the wall sort of place, however, looks can be deceiving. I was really impressed with the pho. Take a chance on this place and not allow looks to deceive you.
Service: Super friendly service. The dish came out in a timely manner.
Price: Very cheap and reasonable compared to other places in and around the city, however, the catch is that they're cash only. Thankfully I read the sign and prepared in advance, however, I had to forgo dessert and drink since it was cash only. Just be prepared to take enough cash.
Food: I had the lemon grass chicken with plain rice. The chicken was very flavorful. It must have been the orange glaze. Yes there was an orange glaze that I hadn't seen with other lemon chickens, however, I just went with it. The chicken itself was nice and tender and the rice wasn't too dry which I have experienced at other places.
